Members of the Hummels Wharf Fire Company were pleasantly surprised when they recieved a copy of "Fire & Rescue" magazine published in Europe.  An article written by Ann-Marie Knegt, deputy editor of the magazine, entitled "The Evolution of Fire Apparatus in America"  was headlined by a picture of their apparatus taken by Pat Shoop. 

The Hummels Wharf Fire Company has placed a new AMKUS Model 22 Heavy Duty cutter into service.  The cutter was purchased by the Red Robin restaurant located in Monroe Marketplace.

The Hummels Wharf Fire Company has received a $7500 grant from the Degenstein Foundation to help pay for new personal protective equipment.
